Installation Technician MD Region
Work will be in the DMV area
*Distributed Antenna System Installation Experience is a Plus*
Job Description:
Install and terminate copper cabling (CAT 5e, CAT 6, CAT 6a) in office environments
Build Termination Closets including racks, patch panels, fiber optic hardware, patching and cross connecting
Install and terminate fiber optic cabling including LC, SC and ST connectors for both single and multi-mode fiber
Perform mechanical and fusion slicing on fiber optic cable
Utilization of cabling test equipment for both copper and fiber cabling
Requirements:
Must have positive and professional attitude
Must have the ability to be drug tested and no criminal record
Must have strong communication skills
Must promote company culture
Must have OSHA 10 Certification
Must be able to work on ladders and high areas
Must possess a High School diploma or GED equivalent
Must have a valid drivers license
Must have a minimum of 2 years cabling and termination experience
Must have their own hand tools
Must have reliable transportation
Bicsi Certified highly recommended, but not required

Low Voltage Infrastructure Estimator NY, MD, and FL Regions
Job Description:
Duration: Contract to HIRE/PERM
Start Date: ASAP
Responsibilities:
Provide estimates and formal quotations, inclusive of DAS, data/communications, security, card access, and other low voltage solutions to the customer.
Duties:
Perform walkthroughs on job sites to gain understanding of environment and implementation requirements
Perform take offs from provided plans and SOW’s
Identify key challenges and/or opportunities for each project
Review Specifications and drawings
Identify potential value engineering
Review material quotations for completeness
Travel to customer and strategic partner site to perform technical presentations when required
Build strategic working relationships with subcontractors/Technical Partners to accomplish goals and objectives
Perform additional assignments per supervisor’s direction
Prepare proposals letter to the customer inclusive of detailed quotation
Knowledge of budget and schedule management.
Skills:
1. 3 years minimum estimating low voltage
(DAS, data/communications/security/telecommunications) projects involving copper, and fiber
2. Knowledge of estimating techniques and take off procedures.
Education:
1. RCDD is a PLUS
2. Certified by manufacturer a plus
